My family arrived from Indiana Friday evening. We went to the park and Chickamauga Battlefield. This picture is of Jenna blowing bubbles. I am so grad that I got it because her bubble blowing was very short lived. She probably got to dip her bubble wand 3 or 4 times because she kept dumping her bubbles.

Coming for a Visit
My mom & stepdad are on their way down from Indiana with my 8 year old nephew and 3 year old niece (seen here). Mom said that Jenna was asking what color my house was so that she could look for it before they were through Indianapolis…..Jenna lives in Indianapolis.
) Being only 3, she does not understand that Aunt Chrisi lives 500 miles away. They should be either in Nashville or pretty close now. I have not seen them since New Years when we went up for a visit. I can’t wait!
Bradford Pear In Bloom
This is one of our Bradford Pear Trees in our front yard.
My mom is on her way from Indiana with my neice & nephew to visit. She said that the flowers are not in bloom up there yet. The trees and flowers are looking beautiful here. It is supposed to be 75 degrees today. I LOVE SPRING!

Peaceful
The picture isn’t that great, it doesn’t do it justice. We pass by here on our way to work and I am always wanting to stop and take a picture. This morning we finally stopped. It was so beautiful with a touch of fog draping across the top of the hill. The soothing sound of the water trickling down was so calming. I wish I could have stayed.

Incredible Shrinking Woman?
Ok, for the longest time I thought I was 5′ 9.5″ then I discovered that I was really only 5′ 9″. Well, today I was told that I am only 5′ 7.75″!!!!! Am I shrinking?!?!?!
Oh, woe is me! The tragedy of it all!
Another Doctor Visit
Well, yesterday we took Heather to an orthopedic Surgeon. We arrived at 2:15 for our 2:30 appointment, filled out paperwork and then they called her back. We did not actually see the doctor until after 4pm. They took special x-rays that they said would show more than the MRI that we brought with us. The biggest problem I had with the whole experience is they were too busy focusing on her scoliosis. We know that she has a slight curve, we have been told that it is mild. We were not there for her scoliosis, we were there because of the degeneration that was visible to the chiropractor, family doctor and the person who did the MRI report.
Well, we left the office with this from the doctor:
1.) The curve of her spine is mild and will probably not progress much
more. She should not need a back brace or surgery.
~This is a relief. However, we had been told already that her curve was mild.
2.) The pain she was feeling in her back could not be from her scoliosis.
He did not know what was causing her occasional back pain.
~????????
3.) He did not see any degeneration at all.
~Ok, I know that he is supposed to be the expert, but 3 other medical professionals have seen it! Those people seeing it was what lead us to pay him a visit! He may be right, but I simply do not trust him.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want there to be something wrong with her. I really just wish he had taken it more seriously instead of blowing us off.
~End of Rant~

New Cat
This is one of our new cats. She is really pretty, but very mean to the other cats at times. We have gone from 5 cats and 2 kittens to 4 cats, then 3 cats, then 2. Now we are back up to five. That is just since September of last year! Only 2 of the 5 are the cats we started with in September. It is really sad actually.
( We brought 2 cats with us from our other house when we moved a year and a half ago, only one is left. The really ironic thing is that she was a house cat and we were afraid she wouldn’t make it outside. Heather’s grandma gave her to us when she moved out of state, and we could not keep her inside due to my allergies. Obviously she has proven herself to be tough.

My First Edible Loaf of Bread
Here is my wonderful loaf of bread. I am sure you have been holding your breath waiting for me to post this picture. I just know that everyone is as excited about it as I am.
)
Actually Byron & Heather are very excited because they like homemade bread. They are still not as excited as I am.

Me & Aunt Wanda
This is me with my Aunt Wanda who stopped to visit us yesterday. I’m glad she stopped on her way through, but the visit was way too short. She is such a fascinating lady, someone that you could just listed to all day because she is so full of information. We are going to try to make plans to go visit her in Cincinnati for the weekend sometime soon.
